| Required Skills: Extensive component/OO-based software design and development experience (7 years). Superior J2EE/EJB development experience (Java certification preferred). Strong background with design patterns. Solid development background leveraging the RDBMS (Sybase or Oracle). Experience with a leading application server product (BEA Weblogic preferred). - Strong client-side development experience using Java Swing preferred. Experience with Finance/Trading applications. Excellent verbal communication skills, and strong analytical skills. | |
| Description: Hands-on design and development of new project initiatives and assist with the extension of existing middle-tier &/or client infrastructure and application requirements. Work with project managers to understand business requirements of the system and how to best leverage the technology. Mentor junior level developers on best practices and internal coding guidelines as needed. Produce design artifacts and conduct peer-level code reviews.
